According to reported published in DigiTimes, Apple is planning to completely overhaul iPad, iPhone, iMac And MacBook Air Next products next year. Although DigiTimes reporting at times is bit shaky and does not come into reality but still some do therefore its worth mentioning as the newspaper has considerably large circulation. In the report “sources in the upstream supply chain” the newspaper has categorically mentioned iPad, iPhone, iMac And MacBook Air which will be revamped in 2012.
Apple plans to completely overhaul its product lineups, including iPad, iMac, iPhone and MacBook Air, in 2012 and is expected to finalize order volumes for key parts and components for the next-generation iPad in December, according to sources in the upstream supply chain.
Stranger still:
Apple’s new generation iPad will enter mass production soon with the launch set for March 2012, according to sources from the upstream supply chain; however, the sources revealed that internally Apple does not view the new iPad product as iPad 3, but rather an upgraded iPad 2 and the real iPad 3 will not be launched until the third quarter of 2012 at the earliest.
Even if the report has any truth in it, we will have to actually wait for Apple to announce the refreshed lineup.
Besides mentioning the overhauling of all product lineups, DigiTimes states that Apple has already ordered manufacturers from the supply chain to develop flat panel modules and bars of LED lights for iPad prototypes. DigiTimes also published a report today on Apple launching not one but two new iPads next year.
