Android slowly crashing iOS and others

Its been a long time battle between ios and android, and both got a fairly huge amount of users. Talking about the app stores, quiet a while ago apple,s itunes had a huge amount of apps, but now a days as the android market is increasing the android appstore is surpasing the itunes.

Recent comScore findings, for the three months ended October, show Android‘s share of U.S. smartphone users grew 4.4 points over the prior three months, climbing to a 46.3 percent of the market. Apple remains in second place, gaining an extra percentage point to 28.1 percent share.

Android Market Share:

Android is taking off and there is no debating that. However, as more and more devices are introduced and each one looks and acts differently, Google is going to HAVE to come up with a strategy to make some order. I am thinking tabs in the Market for different screen sizes or something along those lines. As it is, the Market is a mess with more app add ons then apps itself and no way to filter them out, but if we continue down this road, the Market will become unusable and fast.
